Schorfheide Game Park
Oldest and verifiably purest domestic horse breed. About 700 animals worldwide. It probably goes back to a crossbreed of the post-glacial wild horse with the Celtic domestic horse. Native range: Southwest England. About 200 free-living animals in the Exmoor National Park. Extraordinarily sturdy, undemanding and powerful pony. Herds can be kept in the open as free-living horses all the year round.
