Schorfheide Game Park
Very primitive East-European breed of horses. Konik is a Polish diminutive and means “horsie”. Koniks are very undemanding and cold-resistant. Herds can be kept in the open as free-living horses all the year round. Characteristics: grey coat with black dorsal streak, black or striped legs, two-colour mane. Withers’ height from 120 to 140 cm (3'11" to 4'7").
