Schorfheide Game Park
Spread over Europe, Asia and Africa. The senses of hearing, taste and smell are acute, but vision is poor. Sows usually live in groups called sounders, adult males are mainly solitary. Births in spring (1 to 13 young per litter). Wild boars are omnivores. Lifespan: approx. 10 years.
